Having an up-to-date data list is extremely important for any marketing campaign so either calling a clients data they have had in house for many years, previous customers from years ago or a new cold data list and calling to confirm correct contact names, email addresses and company information, it can then be used for other marketing avenues like email and social media campaigns.

AWARENESS
Often done in conjunction with lead generation and data cleansing, telemarketing is a chance to spread awareness of a clients company, product or service and to obtain agreement to sending information and keeping in touch. It may be that quarterly calls are then made to ensure that awareness remains for when the prospect has a need.

RESEARCH
Again, often in conjunction with data cleansing, research can be done to ascertain if a prospect is in fact relevant for our client and within their target market. Aside from the normal data cleansing, it would be more relevant questioning i.e. do they use or have they ever used the product or service our client offers, contract renewal dates, any upcoming projects where our clients product or service can play a part and so on. This helps to remove any irrelevant data and helps to focus on the prime, relevant prospects.

MARKET
PROFILING
One of the most important things to do at the outset of a campaign. Some clients have a huge potential market so it may be profiling it down to their ‘ideal’ sectors or geographical targets or company size to start with and other clients have very niche markets. Where possible this is done before calls are made with Link and data providers however sometimes calls need to be made and market research undertaken to produce a prime data list.

Acting as a broker, Link can profile and purchase data on a client’s behalf which is often cheaper than a client purchasing direct.

TPS
CHECKING
To ensure GDPR compliance, any phone number that is being cold called needs to be TPS checked every 28 days and Link have the software to do this as calls are made.

INFORMATION
FULFILMENT
Link have several office 365 accounts set up for clients that require us to send email information or appointment confirmations on their behalf. This allows continuity of contact and helps with the image that Link are a part of our clients organisation. Link can undertake email campaigns using these email accounts. We have also undertaken large postal campaigns for some clients including printing letters, filling envelopes, printing labels and franking.
