Pauline Young - Managing Director

Pauline is the Managing Director of Link Telemarketing and set up the business in 2001.  Prior to this, Pauline worked for 17 years for Brake Bros, a billion pound food wholesaler where she worked initially as a Telesales and then Depot Manager, and then moved onto Company-wide Project Management.  

During her time with Brakes, she was responsible for roll-out of a company-wide Sales and Communication Skills improvement programme (NLP based) for Telesales, as well as design and implementation of a software solution (SAP) across 550 Telesales and Field Sales Users.

My Team Managers and I all came from larger organisations and, having worked in senior roles, we have a thorough understanding of how businesses work. This means, when we look at a clients’ business, we take a more “holistic” approach, ensuring we really understand their organisation and clearly define their objectives. This is key to creating the right solution for each client.”

Kevin Aish - Team Manager

Kevin joined Link in early 2007 to head up Link's Government Department, having spent 20 years in a telesales and sales environment.  Before joining Link, he worked for Market Reach and was responsible for design, implementation and operational management of a multi-site call centre solution that seated 120 staff, delivering outbound telemarketing campaigns to both B2C and B2B customers on behalf of household names. 

Prior to that, Kevin worked as a Senior Account Manager, looking after several blue chip companies including Boots, Mothercare and British Home Stores.

 


Jan Hill - Team Manager

Jan worked for 20 years with Northcliffe Newspapers (part of the Daily Mail group), enjoying a very successful management career, working across all disciplines within the company.  She left the company in 2004 to move to Devon, and joined Link Telemarketing in 2005, heading up the Commercial Department.

Of Jan's many achievements at Northcliffe, most notable were, perhaps, her development and implementation of a training and development plan for the Group’s telemarketing team, as well as working as a Mentor to middle and senior managers to develop their Communication Skills, plus assisting the Management of the Budapest Sun to create a commercial function to run alongside their editorial department.
